Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, and any details you share when you create an account, join a waitlist, apply for a cohort, or fill out an intake form (for example, the test you're preparing for and your goals).

Usage information: basic technical data such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and your progress within our courses and games.

Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve our courses and coaching, manage your account, process payments, schedule sessions, send you updates about your enrollment, and keep the service secure.

We may send you occasional product or marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run NerdCoach (such as hosting, authentication, database, email, and payment providers), and only as needed for them to perform those services.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of NerdCoach, our users, or others.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to make the site work. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.

Data retention and security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You can review and update your account information from your profile. You may also request that we delete your account and associated personal information, subject to any records we are required to keep.

Children's privacy

NerdCoach is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Students under 18 should use NerdCoach with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of NerdCoach after changes means you accept the updated policy.
